Rules Tab

The Rules tab of the Segment Details screen is used to define the logical conditions that specify the inclusion criteria for the Segment. The method for defining the Segment Rules depends on the Segment's execution type, and (for EDP type Segments) the selected authoring method. For more information, see the following:

Note: The Rules tab is not displayed for External type Segments.

Member Overrides Tab

The Member Overrides tab of the Segment Details screen lets you override the Segment Rules, and explicitly include a Member in a Segment (or conversely, exclude a Member from a Segment). See Define Member Overrides for more information.

Note: The Member Overrides tab is not displayed for External type Segments.

Results Tab

For Segments with an Execution Type of either EDP or Golden Record, the Results tab of the Segment Details screen provides a list of all Members selected by the latest execution of the Segment Rules.

From this tab, you can manually refresh the Segment. See Refresh a Segment for more information.

Also from this tab, you can export a list of all the Members selected by this Segment. See Manually Export the Members in a Segment for more information.

Also from this tab, if you have the Holdout Group feature enabled for this Segment, you can configure the size of the Holdout Group. See Configure a Holdout Group for more information.

For Segments with an Execution Type of External, the Results tab shows the contents of the most recently imported file. See Import Members into a Segment for more information.

Linked Objects Tab

The Linked Objects tab of the Segment Details screen provides a list of other Loyalty assets within your account that use or reference this Segment, such as Offers or Challenges.

For more information about a linked asset, click its name to navigate to the details screen for that asset.

Import Tab

The Import tab of the Segment Details screen is displayed only for Segments with an Execution Type of External.

This tab allows you perform your segmentation in an external system, then import the selected Members into Loyalty and use them to populate a Segment.

See Import Members into a Segment for more information.

History Tab

The History tab of the Segment Details screen provides a log of when the Segment counts were last estimated and refreshed. The log shows the previous count and current count, who initiated the process, the date / time when the process started and ended, and the current status of the process.
